PROGRAM DATES:
This program will be in effect between October 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017.

 

ELIGIBILITY:

All full-time, part-time and PRN Associates currently employed by Mary Washington Healthcare are eligible to receive a referral award for each successful hire who meets the criteria of the program.  Human Resources Recruitment staff members and Senior Management are ineligible to receive a reward. Clinical Hiring Managers and Supervisors are eligible when they refer candidates for positions outside of their area of responsibility.

Referrals must match qualifications and experience level for the posted position. Those considered to be ineligible as referred applicants include the following:

  • Current MWHC Associates
  • Previous Associates who were employed within the last 12 months
  • Temporary staff, contractors, students, volunteers, interns and residents who are hired into permanent positions
  • Hire of a candidate for which a recruiting fee was paid
  • PRN Candidates

 

REFERRAL PROCESS AND PROCEDURES:

  1. Referring Mary Washington Healthcare Associates will receive payouts for positions that are in high demand and critical to fill as follows:

a. $5,000 for full-time experienced Nurses for Critical Care, Behavioral Health, ED, OR, L&D; CRNAs, Ultrasonographers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, MTs, MLTs and Respiratory Therapists.

b. $3,000 for full-time experienced inpatient RNs (other than specialties listed above).

c. $1,500 for Staffing Office RNs, part-time inpatient RNs, CRNAs, Ultrasonographers, PTs, OTs, MTs, MLTs and Respiratory Therapists.

d.  $500 for full-time CNAs and $250 for part-time CNAs.

  1. IF YOUR REFERRAL IS HIRED AND COMPLETES ORIENTATION BY DECEMBER 19, 2016, YOU WILL RECEIVE DOUBLE THE BONUS!
  2. Eligible Mary Washington Healthcare referring Associate must be named as “source” by the referred candidate on a MWHC application for employment completed during the October 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017, time frame.  Only one Associate name can be listed as the source.
  3. All candidates must complete an application with MWHC between October 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017.
  4. To receive a referral award, the referring Associate must in good standing at MWHC for 90 days prior to the award disbursement.
  5. The new hire must successfully complete 90 days of satisfactory, uninterrupted employment and be in good standing as a Mary Washington Healthcare Associate.
  6. Both the Associate and the referral must be employed at MWHC at the time of the award disbursement.
  7. Mary Washington Healthcare reserves the right to amend or cancel this program without notice.
